I finished college back in the early 90s with an HND in Graphic Design and Advertising at Hounslow Borough College – now known as West Thames. I spent 20 years working in London in freelance and permanent positions for design & marketing agencies (Wally Ollins, Inferno, Elvis, Carnegie Orr) and retail giants like TK Maxx, Debenhams and House of Fraser. My last position before I left for maternity was at a wonderful design agency in Godalming – BS&P. I am still in touch with everyone who worked there.
As the UK went deeper into a recession, I set up Kifi
My son was a year old, and I was looking to return to work. However, despite being very keen, there weren’t any jobs!
I very quickly decided to set up Kifi and began working with many of my old agency contacts. Before I knew it, I was employing other freelancers to deliver the projects on time.
We built websites, wrote copy, created advertising campaigns, took photographs… I was back in the saddle and juggling a small child at home with only two days per week childcare. Kifi still managed to turn over in excess of 100k!
I am an ambassador of the brand
Over time and through experience, I have become an ambassador of everything brand; helping the smaller business with stand out, memorable brand identity and marketing clarity.
I work with start-ups, small to medium-sized businesses, charities, and larger corporates; delivering creative marketing services; graphic design, video, copywriting, print, advertising campaigns, and photography. Most of my clients are via referral – something I am very proud of.
When required, I work with other freelance designers and digital ambassadors, so I can give you a seamless service.
I will always be your point of contact at Kifi, and will help with any questions you may have or suggestions you make. I will always try to steer you in the right direction and help you find your niché in the market, even if it does feel a bit scary.
My mission? Deliver great, uncomplicated, memorable design and communication!
